PEACE HILLS TRUST TOWER–

8TH FLOOR LOBBY

Stuck in the 70’s with dark oak wood wall paneling and ceiling as well as brass feature, this lobby was in dyer need of an overhaul.  With the resurgence of gold toned metals, we used the existing brass elevator cladding as the inspiration for this modern renovation.  The existing slat wood ceiling was painted white while the existing square and modern lights remained.  To add interest as a feature, we built out the existing core wall opposite the elevators.  A mix of three-dimensional tile, brushed brass accents, a warm taupe paint and grey millwork features help anchor the eye.  LED shelf-like wall sconces help diffuser light up the millwork features to provide some height while illuminating the flexible frosted glass directory system.  Warm and neutral carpets tile with additional gold-toned accents help pull together the final modern yet classically appealing aesthetic.
