Michael Anthony Jewellers has set itself apart from other jewelers over the years by specializing in unique stones in a boutique environment. It was never about the size of the store, but the unique offerings that set them apart.
After nearly 20 years in a regional shopping centre, Michael Anthony Jewellers relocated their store into a new space in the upcoming Westmount area on 124 Street in 2014. The new store allowed for many great new elements for them. One of the key areas was a new in-store Pandora boutique at the storefront. This allowed the store to have two distinct zones.
Entering into the store, Michael Anthony Jewellers had a new feeling. Light coloured flooring and walnut inspired cladding on existing display cases added warmth while the Client’s existing artistic photos of some of their prized coloured gems added all the colour on the walls. The space was kept minimal with the jewellery and a few key design elements to help anchor the space. To compliment the unique offerings at Michael Anthony Jewellers, beautiful and large-scaled Prandina light fixtures that look like copper gold dotted the ceiling.
At the back of the store, the new cash desk area was clad in the latest of textured wood-look panels. Juxtaposing these new panels a charcoal grey cash desk was clad with a beautiful piece of salvaged wood from Vancouver Island, while Swarovski architectural pot lights added a bit of sparkle above.
No store can be complete without branding. The new Michael Anthony Jewellers word mark was applied onto a black and grey mosaic tile background with large black diamond looking tiles.
