This second project for a Private Residence in St. Albert, the challenge at hand was to create a large outdoor living area that would accommodate entertaining of guests as well as daily living for this family of four.  The solution, a 1200 square foot deck with fully finished open patio below.  Consisting of two levels, one gas fireplace per level as well as an outdoor kitchen with pergola, this open exterior living area will provide the family with an extra way to enjoy their home.  Not only functional, the design incorporates some of the latest in LED lighting technology to create dramatic lighting effects at night.  The lower level which is a step down from the walk-out basement, takes into consideration the powerful winds that are prevalent in this area of the County.  This area incorporates a tempered glass wall to protect users from wind while allowing beautiful views of the sunsets to the West.  Meanwhile, the vast deck above has a raised area of more than 500 square feet with one of the fireplaces, raised high enough to give unobstructed views to the Westward hills.
