Transforming a basement into a multi-use living area was the focus of this renovation in Southwest Edmonton.  Combining the love of wine and home entertainment, this basement renovation centres on an eleven-hundred bottle wine cellar.  Taking design queues from a medieval knight that the Client had, the basement features knotty alder cabinets with traditional millwork details, warm caramel hues, an original-inspired scagliola fireplace and replica antique French furniture.  The basement has been opened up to provide multi-function use of both the sitting area and the home theatre area.  The overall colour and furniture selection provides two distinct areas while still be similar enough to help harmonize the space.
